Stanford University

This large glass S-3000 Foldaway vertical lift bifold door was installed at Stanford University in California. It opens up the McMurtry Building's facade to the beautifully manicured courtyard easily and artfully. The large bifold door is a true bifold vertical lifting truss door that shuns the typical hangar door vibe, operating with a small, 120 volt motor and no loud or leaky hydraulics needed. It's truly a work of art and a perfect match for the expertly designed architectural masterpiece created by Diller Scofidio + Renfro for the Department of Art and Art History. It houses art classrooms, art studios, screening rooms, the art and architecture library, a student lounge, and much more. Contact Renlita today and see why the world's leading architecture firms and universities insist on our counterweight doors for their highest profile projects.

We love to show off our work!  The above is just one of our many custom-designed projects built here in the USA.  However, if you're looking to learn about the differences in Renlita systems when compared to typical hydraulic doors or cable and strap doors, or if you're looking for items such as spec sheets, BIM or Revit models, Brochures, CAD files, and much more, you can find them by clicking the button below to visit the Design Center.
