The Railyard

The Railyard installed a massive S-3000 Foldaway door that opens into the adjacent courtyard. It provides the ability to let in natural light and block solar UV rays using insulated low-e glass while opening up to the outdoors in beautiful weather. One of several Renlita bifold doors in the historic South End of Charlotte, NC, the Railyard sits in the heart of the area and includes retail, restaurant, and office space near shopping, parking, and lots of fun activities. The large bifold door is an architectural focal point for the entire community and offers a stylish look and effortless operation not found in typical hydraulic doors or other hangar door-style openings. Extra safety measures such as inertia brakes ensure no troubles with even the largest doors, and the interlocking truss systems and balanced approach make this S-3000 open completely with very little lost space. You can't do that with a hydraulic bifold door!
